The Lovelace Health System operates in a very unique way that is beneficial to seniors. Instead of making senior citizens in New Mexico switch from their traditional Medicare programs you stay with your government plan and pay those premiums. When you sign on as a Lovelace member Medicare pays your premium for you to them. You get all of the extended coverage of a traditional Medicare supplement plan including prescription drug coverage.
The only requirements for joining the Lovelace Health Plan is that you live in a covered area such as New Mexico, and already be enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B. Lovelace Health Plans make everything easier for seniors by making sure there are never any claim forms, and all payments are made promptly to your doctors and hospitals so that care is on-going and consistent.
