Rocky Mountain Health Plans of Colorado Medicare InsuranceAdvantage, Medigap Supplemental and Part D Prescription Drug Plans
Rocky Mountain Health Plans specializes in health care plans in Colorado, offering several Medigap Medicare supplement plans for seniors, Medicare Advantage plans and Prescription drug coverage. Unlike other insurance companies which offer multiple types of insurance and serve members across many states, Rocky Mountain Health Plans offers health insurance exclusively, while serving customers only in the Colorado area. Rocky Mountain Medicare Health Plans of Colorado uses the community rated pricing method to set prices for its Medigap policies for Colorado residents. This means that your Medigap premium is not based on your age, and all new members are charged the same monthly premium. While premiums for community rated Medigap policies may be adjusted for inflation or other factors, they will not be adjusted based on your age.
Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plans
Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP)* offers Medigap Medicare Supplement plans for those who prefer a traditional Medicare supplement insurance plan. RMHP Medigap Plans are available for people with Medicare, regardless of their age.
RMHP offers a variety of Medigap plans. Choose from the four plans offered:
- Medigap Plan A - Plan A provides basic benefits, including coverage of Medicare’s Part A hospital and Part B medical coinsurance.
- Medigap Plan C - Plan C offers the same basic benefits that Plan A does and adds to it coverage for the Skilled Nursing coinsurance and Part A and Part B deductibles. Plan C also covers emergency care when traveling out of the country.
- Medigap Plan F - Plan F is the most popular among Medicare beneficiaries. This plan provides all the benefits of Plan C and covers all Medicare Part B excess charges.
- Medigap Plan G - Plan G provides basic benefits from other plans, as well as covering Skilled Nursing coinsurance, Medicare Part A deductible, and Emergency care when traveling worldwide. Plan G will cover a portion of the Medicare Part B excess charges and offers an At-Home Recovery benefit.
- Medigap Plan N - Plan N is a new plan available to Medicare beneficiaries. This plan is a hybrid plan that looks similar to Plan F but has some costs that the beneficiary pays for services they receive in exchange for a lower monthly premium.

- You can go directly to any in-network doctor you need. No referrals. No asking for permission.
- You don’t need a physical exam to enroll, and premiums are not based on your age.
- You won’t be turned away because of a pre-existing condition. As long as you have Medicare Part A and B or B only, we can accept you.*
- You retain your Original Medicare benefits. No signing them over to us.
- You’ll have a Colorado-based health plan with excellent customer service located in Grand Junction.
