Green Mountain Care is a bevy of low-cost and free health coverage programs for Vermonters and is offered by the state of Vermont and its partners. Green Mountain Care provides uninsured Vermonters with access to quality, comprehensive health care coverage at a reasonable cost.
Programs include Dr. Dynasaur, Medicaid, Vermont Health Access Plan (VHAP), and Catamount Health. Depending on your income, you can get help paying your Catamount Health premiums in Vermont. If you have access to employer-sponsored insurance, you can get help paying your employer's health insurance premium, depending on your income.
