Social security requires you to pay 7.65 percent of the first $61,200 you make. If you have two jobs, and your income exceeded that amount, it's likely that you may have paid more than your share. Look at your W-2s from each of your employers to see how much you paid. If the total on your W-2s exceeds $4681.80, use the Payments section of Form 1040 to get a refund.
