Women's Health Connection

Women's Health Connection is the name of Nevada's Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program that provides education, free screening services and therapeutic care related to breast and cervical cancer to Nevada's eligible female residents.

  • In order to be eligible for the Women's Health Connection program, you must meet age, income, and insurance guidelines. In order to receive pap smears and clinical breast exams, you must be 40 years of age or older. To be eligible to receive an annual mammogram, you must be 50 years of age or older. Additionally, you must be either underinsured or uninsured and your income must not exceed 250% of the federal poverty level. For example, for a family of three, your monthly income must not exceed $3,265.
  • Women screened through this program and diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer may be eligible for free health coverage through Medicaid that will extend throughout the duration of treatment.
