Once again health reform was big in the news recently, so I chose some articles of interest covering this very topic. The first article comes to us from Human Resource Exective Online magazine, and is entitled, "National Health Reform Begins." This article discusses what they feel are needed steps in order to gain true health care reform.

This week we will look at a couple of articles that deal with employers thoughts on health care reform, how families are dealing with insurance for their children, and why lacking health insurance isn't good for anyone. Our first article comes to use from Workforce Management magazine, and is entitled, "Employer Groups Push for Health Care Reform, Reject Mandatory Employer-Provided Insurance."

We are covering several articles in this installment, so let's get right to it. Our first article comes from EmaxHealth and is entitled, "Can The Media Derail Health Care Reform?" In this article, the author looks at past and present cases in which the media have either barely covered or ignored information and news on health care and reform policy and information.

In this issue, we will look at the repercussions on rising health care and insurance costs, how being healthy can save health care costs, and a worrisome lack of primary care physicians. Our first article comes from Minneapolis Star Tribune and is entitled, "Curbing health bills brings different cost." This article looks at the rising trend in patients forgoing preventive and follow-up care due to high health care costs as well as making decisions for themselves that can go against the opinions of doctors.
