Today we're going to look at several articles discussing the hot-button topic of health care reform. The first article comes to us from Reuters and is entitled, "WellPoint urges action on health-care reform." In this article, they discuss how Wellpoint CEO Angela Braly has some ideas on health care and health insurance reform. She first expresses concerns over trying to pass a comprehensive package, and that it will slow things down in the long run.

With unemployment soaring and people in fear of losing their jobs or already having lost them the concern over how to find good affordable health insurance is a pressing question. Health insurance is one of those things you hope you never need, but you sure are glad you have it when you do. However, since it isn't a constant necessity that you use all the time you don't want to spend a fortune on it, and yet, most policies seem to cost just that—a fortune.

In this issue, I found three interesting stories regarding confusion in health care and health insurance, what might be needed to bring much-needed reform to health care, as well as its future in this country.

With our presidential election now over, and president-elect Obama ready to take office soon, one of the things that our new president-elect and our government is being begged to do by our populace is to revamp and reform our current health care and health insurance systems. With that in mind, I found a few articles that talk about possible changes under a new president and a mostly-Democratic house and senate.

On the eve of the presidential election here, more and more articles regarding health insurance are taking a political bent, so much so that it's difficult to find interesting articles on health care and health insurance that aren't politically motivated, as politics is something I'm trying to avoid here. Luckily I was able to find a few articles with a common thread...just how messed up our health insurance and health care system is.
