The first article with the worrisome title, "Physician Shortage Will Stop Universal Health Insurance Dead in Tracks," in EmaxHealth magazine, discusses how a lack of qualified general physicians will cripple any universal health care plan because, according to the article, "these physicians who manage 80% of all health care needs of our population."

In this issue we take a look, once again, at the politics of both presidential candidates in how they relate to health insurance and health care. With the election closing upon us, media outlets are spending a lot of time picking apart the various platforms of both candidates, including health care and health insurance. This is what we'll be taking a look at in this issue.

Much of the recent news regarding health insurance is still focused on presidential politics and the election. In order not to be repetitive of our previous issue that focused solely on presidential politics, and to try to cover other interesting topics regarding health care and health insurance, I have found some other interesting articles on health insurance that I'd like to share.

As we get closer and closer to the presidential elections here in the U.S., more and more media outlets are focusing on the proposed policies and agenda's of our two candidates, Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain. While one would expect their policies to differ dramatically due to the inherent differences in their parties philosophies, it's their differences in health care that we'll spend some time looking at over the coming weeks.
